義大利知名食品品牌Barilla旗下的食品與營養中心(Barilla Center of Food and Nutrition)與路透集團旗下的湯森路透基金會(Thomson Reuters Foundation)推出了食品永續媒體獎(Food Sustainability Media Award)。其為一開放給來自世界各地的記者、部落客、攝影師以及剪輯師述說食物以及永續發展相關故事的國際獎項。由於食物永續性已為全球共同關注的問題,而媒體又扮演一重要角色,主辦單位期待透過相關推廣以及此獎項的創立,讓消費者對於此議題能有更多的認知並共同創造一更具有永續性的未來。

徵選類別分為新聞寫作、攝影以及影片製作三大類,而每大類的獎項又將分為已問世與尚未問世作品兩大項。每大類已問世作品得獎人可獲得1萬歐元現金,而頒發給尚未問世作品得獎人的相關獎項則包含一全額補助的湯森路透基金會食品永續發展媒體訓練課程以及其他獎項。有關更多Food Sustainability Media Award相關訊息,請點擊以下連結。

 

Barilla Center of Food and Nutrition and Thomson Reuters Foundation have launched the Food Sustainability Media Award, an international prize open to journalists, bloggers, photographers, videomakers who tell stories about food and sustainability. As food sustainability is a global concern and the media has a key role to play, the organisers hope to inform consumers and contribute to the creation of a more sustainable future with the award. 

The award is divided into three categories: writing journalism, photography and video. While the prizes to the winners are divided into published and unpublished works. The prizes awarded to the winners for their published work will receive a cash prize of 10,000 euro, while those for their unpublished work will receive instead a paid trip to attend a Thomson Reuters Foundation media training course on food sustainability.
