義大利建築師Stefano Boeri以及其建築事務所即將於南京實現亞洲第一項「垂直森林」(Vertical Foresct)計劃,同時也是全球繼米蘭與瑞士洛桑之後第三個擁有「垂直森林」的城市。「南京垂直森林」以該事務所的「米蘭垂直森林」(Milan Vertical Forest)為原型,並將由一高一低的建築物所組成。其特點為錯綜的陽台以及由高密度的植被所覆蓋。建築立面將有600顆大樹、500顆中等大小的樹木以及超過2,500顆落葉藤與灌木覆蓋總計約為6,000平方公尺的表面。據計,南京垂直森林每年可減少約20噸的二氧化碳排放、每天提供約60公斤新鮮氧氣。

 

The Nanjing Vertical Forest designed by the Italian architect, Stefano Boeri, will be the first in Asia as well as the third city in the world to have a vertical forest project, after Milan and Lausanne. The project includes two towers which will be featured with alternating balconies and green tanks based on the model of the Milan Vertical Forest. Along the facades, 600 large trees, 500 of average cut trees and more than 2500 shrubs and plants will cover a surface of 6,000 square meters. The Nanjing Vertical Forest is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by around 20 tons per year and produces 60kg of oxygen per day.
